Pope Francis has declared 2015 to be the Year of Consecrated Life. The celebration begins the first Sunday of Advent, November 30, 2015. It will end on February 2, 2016, the World Day of Consecrated life.
Prayer for the Year of Consecrated Life
O God, during this Year of Consecrated Life, we say thank you for the courageous witnesses of faith and models of inspiration of men and women who have given witness to a life of intense prayer and living out of the Gospel Values. Their pursuit of holy lives teaches us to make a more perfect offering of ourselves to you. Continue to enrich your Church by calling forth women and men who are willing to respond to the call of consecrated life. May we be instruments in encouraging others or ourselves to find this way of life to be a gift of radical love to the world.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

We invite you to Tuesday Night with the Sisters on the second week of the month at 7:00pm. There will be a mix of film viewings and speakers, all with a theme of honoring the contributions of women religious.
- Our schedule continues:
- Come & See Weekends
- Arriving around 4 pm on Friday to get settled in our guest home.
- Coming to the Monastery at 4:45 for a Friday evening Vesper service and meal.
- Meeting with our sisters informally at our Friday night gathering.
- Coming to the monastery for Saturday Morning prayers at 7 am, followed by Breakfast, Lectio, and experiencing a day in the life of a sister.
- Included in this experiencme you will be working side by side with sisters in various job descriptions, viewing a DVD, and a PowerPoint presentation, touring Sacred Heart Monastery and Villa St. Benedict, sharing with other sisters, and opportunities for private prayer.
- Sunday would include Morning Prayer and Lectio with a closing Mass and a meal.
These weekends are designed to help men and women better know and understand what makes Sacred Heart Monastery or St. Procopius Abbey such a unique and desirable place to grow in ones relationship to God, self and others.
One who participates in a “Come and See” weekend at Sacred Heart Monastery would have the opportunity to see why women want to enter here and what they might find that is not available to them elsewhere.
Scheduled age groups for the 2015-2016 Come and See” experience are:

November 20-22 for ages 35 and above
March 24-27 for all ages
The weekend would include:
