On Monday July 23, 2007, Villa St. Benedict Employess, Residents, as well as the Benedcitine Sisters held a Prayer of Blessing for our Memory Care Unit. Glenn Trembley and Sister Judith Ann among others took part in this sacred ritual which blesses and sprinkles with Holy Water the people and places in this dwelling place. This space has been renovated to provide 14 residents with tender loving care designed especially for their needs. The memory care unit has a history of first being a dormitory space when the building was Sacred Heart Academy, then a combination of bedrooms, lounges, sewing and laundry space while the sisters lived in that part of what is now Villa St. Benedict.
